Training
At Avant-Garde we see training as one of the most important factors in supplying
an effective and lasting solution to clients.
Without adequate training of the correct quality organisations will never fully
benefit from their systems.
We use trainers accredited by Microsoft and Sage to train on their products.
Our training Services
Avant-Garde are able to offer training on many products and specialise in the
following;
Training is offered either on site with a client or within a classroom
environment. We also run regular courses on specific subjects
On-Site training
Most users opt for our on-site training which is tailored to their specific
requirements. Rather than training users on a module by module basis training is
usually undertaken in half day sessions following a methodical structure from
setting up through to month end procedures etc over a period of time convenient
to the client. By training in this way clients are exposed to all areas of the
product only when they are relevant and can be practiced. This has distinct
advantages over a modular approach where subjects learned are not practiced and
are subsequently forgotten.
Regular courses
We run a number of low-cost courses on a regular basis. Details of these courses

Classroom-Based training
For particular products or for lesser training requirements we run regular
training sessions in a classroom type scenario. Here classes are limited to no
more than eight students. These classes are usually half day in duration and
focus on a particular area or subject. Examples of some of these courses are
integrating Sage with Excel and Advanced querying for Microsoft Access.
