Intermediate Excel training - Course Overview
This half
day course shows attendees how to use many of the most common and intermediate functionality
of Excel
At the end of the course attendees will be able to create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
using these functions in real life scenarios
It is assumed that all attendees have a basic working knowledge and experience of
Excel and windows.
Specific areas covered on the course are.
- Freezing panes
- Hiding Columns & Rows
- Cell and range names
- Using names in formulas
- Using Absolute addresses in formulas
- Linking workbooks / files / copying between workbooks
- Linking pages on workbooks
- Database functions within Excel
- Creating a form for input of Data
- Using @Dsum etc
- Using Subtotals
- Using Lookup functions
- Pivot tables & Graphs
- Better Graphs & Presentations
- Linking Worksheets to Word documents
All attendees will take away a spreadsheet on disk demonstrating all of the aspects
demonstrated during the day. They will also be given handouts of the slides presented
during the day for them to take notes on.
