Avant-Garde offers a market leading support service for our Sage 200 clients. As well as including a telephone helpline and support service we include many additional benefits such as regular Sage 200 newsletters, Sage 200 Hints & Tips, Sage 200 user group meetings and FREE sage 200 Training sessions.

We also offer a Gold Sage 200 support service which includes two half yearly site visits to carry out a Sage 200 Health Check, load Sage 200 program updates and service packs or to use as Sage 200 consultancy for example to carry out a year end.

For Sage 200 clients that are self sufficient and do not require ongoing telephone support we offer a pay as you go Sage 200 support option as long as we are their linked Sage 200 partner in case we need to refer the support issue to Sage.

Much more than just Sage 200 telephone support

Our Sage 200 support service consists of the following elements.

Sage 200 SALP (Sage Annual Licence Plan)

The Sage 200 SALP is charged annually by Sage which entitles users to future Sage 200 upgrades and service packs. This is a mandatory charge from Sage for users to be able to use Sage 200. So that we can pass issues on to Sage if necessary this is required for all clients that wish to use us for Sage 200 support.

Sage 200 Telephone hotline

Our Sage 200 telephone support allows for unlimited telephone support over the contract period of one year. All support calls from clients are logged on our internal CRM system.

Unlike many of our competitors we do not work on a call back basis unless all of our Sage 200 support staff are on other calls. Over 75% of support calls are dealt with and cleared immediately and 95% of calls are cleared within an hour of the initial support call from the client.

Sage 200 Free training worth £800

For Sage 200 clients with a Sage 200 support agreement in place with us we began in 2010 to offer free training sessions on features of Sage 200. We will be holding four Sage 200 training sessions a year

Attendees can either just attend the Sage 200 training session and watch the presentation or they can bring their laptop loaded with virtual PC 2007 and follow within a sage 200 demonstration environment that we provide. 

Sage 200 users who are not currently supported by ourselves can also attend these Sage 200 training sessions at a cost of £200.

Sage 200 program updates and service pack downloads

For Sage 200 clients with Sage 200 support in place we have a dedicated web site where Sage 200 programs updates and service packs are available for download along with instructions of how to update the clients current Sage 200 system.

Set Price Sage 200 Upgrades £200

Where a user would rather that as their Sage 200 partner we carry out service pack or new version upgrades for them, we can upgrade their Sage 200 server remotely and talk their IT staff through upgrading workstations for a set fee of £200.

Internet Based Remote Sage 200 Support

On occasions where the Sage 200 support issue cannot be easily explained over a phone call, we are able to use internet based remote client access support. The remote Sage 200 accepts a file to allow us to take control of their workstation whilst viewing what our support staff member is doing.

We can then work directly on the client's version of Sage 200 to rectify errors or instruct as how to proceed. For security reasons, once the remote Sage 200 support session is terminated our remote software is automatically uninstalled so that the workstation is no longer accessible by us from the internet.

Remote Sage 200 Support By remote desktop and Terminal Services

As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner we are fully conversant with Windows terminal services for remotely accessing our clients systems. This allows our support staff to log into a users system and use it in exactly the same way as if they were on site. This can be useful for clients without dedicated IT staff and often avoids the cost of a site visit by one of our consultants.

Sage 200 Email Support

As well as logging Sage 200 support cases by phone our Sage 200 clients are able to log a call by sending an email to our support email address. This will automatically be entered into our sage 200 support queue just as if we had been notified by phone.

Sage 200 Hints and Tips

Sage 200 users who are linked to us as their Sage 200 partner have access to our Sage 200 hints and tips area of our website. Click here. At present this is available to all our website visitors but will soon be moved to a members only area of our website.

Sage 200 user group meetings

When Sage release a new version of Sage 200 or significant new functionality with a Sage 200 service pack we hold free user group meetings for clients with a Sage 200 support agreement at our offices to demonstrate the new Sage 200 functionality and discuss implementation. 

Sage 200 Newsletter

We regularly send out a Sage 200 newsletter to keep our Sage 200 users aware of all the product news and any sage 200 events we are running. The latest sage 200 news can also be found on our website. Click Here
